gorgeous light, Ron, and really nice wing position and comp. a really nice setting also. I think that I'd use a very small brush to mask out the sharpening on the bright water drop on the bird's left foot--it's just a couple bright pixels there that are catching my eye a little in the larger version.

Superb detail, Ron. I really like the wing position and as you noted, the light is great.

Great pose, and nice job catching the green irridescense on the head.
Super BG and the water drops add a lot.
Another excellent image!

It's a wonderful flight pose Ron.
Great details, colors, and interesting light..
I especially like the soft landscape BG, it ties it all together nicely :toast:

Looks like you had a good time from the quality of this image, very nice detail on the larger image, I like that you can see a little of the iridescent green on the head, nice job in getting this, well done.

The large image is very impressive. A tough exposure (at least for me) added to a great flight position. Well done.

I like the wing position better on this one but the light better on the most recent post probably because of the shadows here.. Still like both images alot.
