Usually i like to be really close to the water, but this night it was almost full storm and it was raining. So i had to take some quick shots before both myself and the camera was all wet.

Hi Andreas,
interesting shot! I really like the drama and the mix of elements here--sea, sky, rocks, all equally well-balanced. I also like the B&W treatment and the dark feel. The main problem here is all the drama is in the center right portion of the frame--there's way too much darkness surrounding the action. It's much preferable IMO to zoom in on the action here than crop (cause obviously you lose resolution with the latter) but here a tigher crop would be stronger (id go for 1/4 off the bottom, and 1/5 off the left side.

I agree with Stan - I like the b/w moody feel, it captures the storm feeling although I think you could show a bit more detail without losing the dark feel - but its too dark at bottom and left edges to add much. A bit more contrast on the sky might really bring out the storm.

Wonderful shot, Andreas. I like the dark treatment here, but that is my taste. I like that there is just the hint of light in the fg rocks, however I also would like more detail there, and also think you can achieve a dark mood with a little more light/shadow contrast. I think you've got an excellent and well balanced comp here, but the dark fg needs to be more in play to make it fully work imho. Love your treatment... great sky and moody atmosphere. Looking forward to seeing more!

Moody and a lots of "Mordor Feeling" in this shot Andreas. B/W justifies the drama and I think the conversion is absolutely perfect. Nice and unusual photo from Kullaberg.
