Hey Everybody,

I'll leave a little mystery behind this image but its not that complicated really. Winter is full of graphic displays of both shapes and light. I found this one from last season and don't know how I missed it but really am fond of it. It was also easy to process which is even better.

Thanks again for your time and support.

Update: Im going to be setting up a blog which will feature image galleries for the time being. Its been far too long and am sorting (hopefully) my best images. Time to get the horse moving

Very cool Anthony! I'm guessing this is a flipped image of the reflection of trees on ice? I love the blues, the variation in texture, and the mysterious reflection! Love it!

Hi Anthony, This is very nice and has a great feel. I really like the blue tones and the wonderful textures of the ice. Looks like reflected tree trunks, but not really sure. Kind of looks like something under the ice too  . Well...anyways it is a beautiful image! Very nice work!!

Looks great and works great for me. Not so easy to make such images works. I agree in winter, one can find this often. But making a good image out of it is a different story.

Works beautifully. Love the blue along with the shapes and textures on the ice. The reflection adds nice depth.

Anthony,

Wonderful winter abstract. I think a great choice in not including the reality part of the scene - which I'm assuming is what you were refering to. Not really a nit, but you might consider cropping the somewhat real section of curved ice surface in the LRC. Minor suggestion. Aside from that, I'm really loving this winter reflection image. Excellent contrast and appropriate color. Well done.

Look forward to your blog. Keep us posted.

hmm I very much like this Anthony it's confusion at the perimeter gives way to ordered chaos in the middle. very nice and well spotted even if it did languish in your files for longer than it should.

Wonderful shapes and textures. Like the way the central reflective area is framed by the less reflective ice.

A lovely abstract Anthony. I feel cold just looking at it. Great framing and light.

Beauty of an abstract. I agree with Didl. Not so hard to find and not so easy to make a nice image from. Well done. :toast:

Fantastic winter ice abstract. The dark trees give this some structure and depth and the patterns of the ice are wonderful. Very nice work.
