Campsite butterfly

Now I very rarely do any close up photography, but I couldn't help take this butterfly's picture when it landed next to my campsite. I like the color and open position of the butterfly's wings, but I would like to know what you all think. Are the out of focus leaves to the right of the head distracting at all?

Taken at Jordan River Pathway in northern Michigan with a Rebel XTi.

Nice capture, Ben. Love the rich colors he has and the good focus on the butterly. I think the leaf he is on is fine as is but I would darken or clone out the OOF leaves around this main leaf. Just my opinion.

What a beautiful portrait! The symmetry here is really nice, and the colors are smooth and beautiful. I don't find the leaves distracting... though a tighter crop might work to remove some distractions.
