The Grebe was yelling at a buddy on the left because it was going out of sight around some reeds at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary.

just beautiful. These birds are notoriously skittish so you did a great job getting close and the reflection is sweet. Plenty of dust spots showed up on this image which need cloning but otherwise it's a real nice image.

Neat pose Skip and the reflection adds a lot IMO. Nice low angle too. These guys are usually wet from diving when I try to shoot them which makes it impossible to get the depth of plumage you got here. I also notice the dust spots but they're an easy fix. Well done.

Cute little guy, nicely done. The little blurb on context does a lot...I can almost hear him calling for his friend.

Really nice, fix the dust spots and you have a winner.

Terrific pose with lots of personality, I love it Harry. I like the comp and reflection, good POV & details too.
I might remove a few of those spots?
Great as posted, well done

Great job to get an image of a grebe not only without its back completely turned and not being 100 yards away in two seconds but calling.

Great job on catching this tricky bird. I love the dry feathers and perfect reflection. Nicely done.
