Windswept

A large lake on a windy morning here in the northern Adirondacks...okay, maybe not. This is a composite image built from 7 photos and blended/reworked in Photoshop. The main image (rocks) was taken on the east branch of the St. Regis River; the other images are from nearby areas here in the Adirondacks.

Thanks for looking, comments/critiques welcome.

Sure looks like it could be a single image. I like the emphasis on the foreground rocks and how their colors are mimicked in the sky. The birds add a lot of balance and depth. Nice blending job!

Beautiful image and wonderful job of blending. I would have thought it was single image! I especially like the rocks in the foreground and the motion blur of the water. And the birds are a nice touch.

I like the elements you have combined here. Has a mystical feeling.

Slightly disturbing, yet oddly soothing... very nice composite, Ron. Like the subdued color palette.
