Nice photo, but it does not look like a RWBB to me, probably a sparrow, but would want to see more of it before trying to say which one...

I too think this is a sparrow and not a female Red-wing: the bill isn't pointed enough for a red-wing, and the legs are pale instead of dark.

Detail is excellent, as is exposure. I like the simple clean composition with the interesting colors in the background.

Hi Angela: Very nice detail in this little guy. Love the pose with the foot up on the branch. Background is very soft and appealing. Nicely done.

Clean sharp and a good color scheme (oh and that leg spread is bonus)

Wow look at those nails -- really nice 3-tiered background -- I might be tempted to try a vertical crop - just to see what it looks like

Not certain what it is, but I do like the image. Good clean background and excellent detail.

Beautiful detail throughout, the nails are great. My first impression is Vesper Sparrow, because of the heavy striping, but I struggle with sparrow ID.

sweet looking shot, Angela. great coloras and nice comp. I'd be inclined toward Savannah Sparrow for this, based on the overall structure (esp the short tail) and coloration.

A very pleasing image for me. Sharp, nice head turn and an endearing "foot pose".
