Headwaters--Torpedo

Winter's closing in. We are offically snowbound once more, having moved all our wheeled vehicles 12 miles down the mountain to the county maintained road. I love the isolation and the silence of the winter landscape. Only the fasted moving streams are still flowing and even they are choked with ice. Makes for some very interesting "sculptures". thanks for looking.

Fascinating abstract Nancy. Love the flame of shapes and colors. Many times I would love to be isolated and other times not.

Excellent -- I hope you spent a lot of time photographically playing with these, I know I would have!

Nancy Lea,

This is outstanding! I'm amazed how you continue to come up with these beautiful abstracts from water. This one is hard to figure out which makes it all that more interesting. This could be imagined in so many different ways, but one of my first impressions is a volcano, or steam rising from the ocean after lava just being dumped in. This is so very cool!

Neat image. I'd love to see a larger version. It feels like a mountain scape viewed through a downpour. 12 miles, that's a long driveway...not many live that way anymore.
