or maybe it's Darth Wader. As I continue to explore symmetric combinations of fall colors reflected and refracted in a local stream, I keep finding faces (animal, human, ??) peering out at me. In addition to the large face there are many smaller spirits checking me out also that may be found in the larger version. Maybe retirement is making me crazy, but if that's the case I'm having a great time and wouldn't change a thing. Very cool, Mark. I don't know if these are easy for you but I've tried them and came up with nothing as good. Keep them coming I enjoy them.

Colours and textures remind me of moth wings -- very intriguing path you are on with these.

Darth Vader or a Birdman. It looks like you are enjoying your retirement.

I don't know how you achieve these but I find them very interesting. I like the idea of using combining nature in various ways to make an artistic image. It does sound like a great creative retirement activity.

Moth Vader, perhaps? :). Very interesting. I like these kinds of images; well done.

Reading your method I'm not sure I follow. I presume you use PhotoShop, a program I do not have. If you have time explain the 'rotation'...
