An Autumn Morning
by Chris Moore
Visited the Smokies a few days past the peak, but liked this scene one morning after a heavy rainfall. If I had any wiggle room, I probably would have composed a little differently but this is all I could do from where I was situated. Still, it was the one time all week where the fog and soft light helped out. 200mm f/20, polarizer. Thanks for looking.

name of the Smokies. For me the lighting is ideal. Well composed with nice
layering in the background.
I feel you may have lightened the upper left fog a bit too much. Since it is the highest point of contrast in the scene my eye keeps moving to it. Take the fog down and let the color contrast in the foreground tree take the attention, as it should
Beautiful shot, the layering in the distance is fantastic. I'm jealous.
I have been eyeing this photo since you posted it. Absolutely gorgeous!
Nice capture too!
