...across Round Valley and the back side of the Buttermilk's. Don't know the name of the prominent peak, (maybe Basin Mtn?), I'm sure one of you mtn experts knows the name. This was taken Oct 10th of this year; after the snow fall earlier in the week it started to warm up nicely. Very quiet around here lately, what's up?

I'll guess this might be Mount Humphrey's but perhaps Preston will chime in with a better I.D. I think he knows all the peaks by sight. I believe Basin is the one between this one and Mt. Tom. This has great early morning glow to it. Nothign like this range with a fresh covering of snow at first light.

A stunning scene! If there was ever a photo that benefitted from the light this must be it. Very nice, Reno.
