At the beach at Talbot Island State Parks in Jacksonville the erosion is taking place in layers. As the bank erodes, the trees fall down onto the lower layer of the beach, where they stay until they get broken down or washed out to sea by the water. Today was the first time I saw this, and I tried to capture it in this image. The image doesn't have the impact this scene has in person, but I wanted to share it anyway.

Comments and suggestions are desired and will be appreciated.

Thank you!

Barbara, nice shot. I like the story you have with the photo and I'm sure the scene in person has a bigger impact. This shot to me shows that we can not stop mother nature.

Good story telling image Barbara. It certainly makes a point. I wonder if you could have shown a bit more of the bank the photo would tell the story better. Just wondering. Thanks for sharing.
