I've been working almost exclusively in B&W lately - I've become a huge fan of what can be done in Silver Efex 2. One of my indoor "winter" projects is to re-evaluate older images that were originally processed in color or not processed at all for new B&W possibilities. This is the first, originally shot in fall 2009.

Large version provided. C&C welcomed.

You've pulled some gorgeous tones out of the trees. The light snow is a real bonus. The apparent tilt to the right is a bit distracting for me, I would probably correct that. I wish there was a little more definition to the sky, but not much you can do about that.

Very nice scene and nicely rendered in B&W. Great with the fog. I would agree with Harry regarding the CCW spin.

This is beautiful. There does appear to be a slight CW tilt however that's a bit bothersome. The foggy BG is a great element. as is the rising mist on the water.

You guys have a very keen eye - there is a very, very slight clockwise tilt (0.2 degrees) that I'll fix. Harry, there is no snow in the image. It's a fall shot and what might appear to be snow is actually yellow leaves showing lighter against the green leaves of the evergreens.

Wonderful B&W Barry. The mist rising off the water adds a lot to the mood.

I agree, beautiful tones here. Love the fog too. The tree look straight to me, but it still feels tilted.
