I have been away for awhile doing lot of projects. Hope everyone is well :smile: ! This woodie image was taken at a local pond, here in Orlando, from a car with a beanbag. The equipment was the Nikon D300s and Nikon 500 f/4, f/8, iso 800, 1/200, post processed in NX2.

Good composition, Nancy! Excellent detail in the drake, and good handling of the whites. The cypress perch is a nice touch and perfect for the Woody.

A fine subject and a good composition. There's a strong halo around the duck, visible even in the thumbnail, that looks like it comes from applying blur or from darkening the surroundings a bit.

Excellent exposure, the most difficult part of photographing this species. I agree with Richard that there are some post-processing artifacts, especially around the head, but since you don't describe your post=processing its's hard to say what they are. Great image, though.
