I was drawn to this bark for its colors, shapes and textures. The drop of resin was a bonus.

Monica: Really well seen and composed. My only suggestion would be to darken the light left edge area. I think it competes a bit with the resin drop which is the undisputed star of the show. I like your DOF choice too. >=))>

Hi Monica Beautifully composed and captured!!! Love the detail, textures, and color. The resin drop was the jewell on this crowning achievement

Monica, I really like this. I find the curl on the back, the shades of various colors, and of course, the resin drop most attractive. This is special and I'm sorry the corners are soft.
Lovely work.

Carol

Very artistic & simple photo, Monica. I like the textures and curves in this. The rich color and smoothness of the drop make a nice contrast to the neutral colors and roughness of the bark.

Too cool! Love the resin especially. I like this better as a tall pano, eliminating the OOF part on the rhs.

Monica:
Well seen and captured. Lovely texture in the bark and the resin is of course the star attraction.
