My last post as I think I am not renewing my membership $49 is just to much per year.

It's been great fun over the last 5 or so years but I find the new format IE members only posting images is not the way to go to grow the site.

Sorry to hear that, Phil, but I doubt you will be the only one as memberships come up for renewal. As for the shot, I think I would like to see the bird a little more to the right of the frame. If you have more canvas on the left, great. If not, I think you could get away with cutting a little more on the right.

Good luck for the future.

Hello Phil.

Lovely image and setting and really like the size of the bird in the frame.

Shame it's your last posting, it's a lovely shot. Great little bird in a lovely setting, nicely composed.

Phil

Sorry you are not rejoining as a member, you have been such a great contributer to the site over the years.

My father used to say old photographers never die, they just fade away.........

probably a bit lost on the none silver halide brigade

Sorry to hear that Phil. Is there any chance of you just getting the $19 UKNP membership?

It's a great shot, small in the frame works well here. :toast:

I'm envious as I've only ever seen one. My only suggestion would be to remove the intrusion top left corner. Hope you will reconsider whilst following developments on the discussion forum.
