First time I'd ever been to Nevada and I loved it. Fascinating geography. These are the Silver Island Mountains rising out of the salt flats (I may have actually been in Utah, at this point. I'm not really sure) I was looking for balance in this image. Thanks for looking, comments appreciated.

I like that you have given the subject the lion's share of the image. The bushes (saltbush?) are an adequate anchor and evidence of depth. Your techs seem right. On the con side, the image feels cool to me and could stand some selective warming and/or selective downplay of the blue color cast in the far mountains. It may well be appropriate for the time of day and conditions, but it takes away from the image.

Ooh, i love the starkness of this image--very Nevada!
2 things--it's oversharpened, you can see that in the noise and slight halos in the bg (and theres a couple dust specks on the far rhs  )
I like the blueness of the bg, but i can see what Phil is saying wrt the fg. You might try a subtle warm-up, or even use a graduated effect so the warm colors of the sage/bushes/whatever they are.

I thinks Stan's comments are right on point,,,,,this definitely has a feel of the barren desert.
