Couldn't get the cooperation I wanted when I needed it...so created a 4-image composite to tell the story. Main image background was from Clear Pond here in the northern Adirondacks, late afternoon f/13, 1/25 s, ISO-200, 17mm. The "dancing" Canada goose was shot mid-day on a Salmon River pond at f/5.6, 1/1600 s, ISO-640, 420mm.

C&C welcome, thanks for stopping by.

Nicely done. With the exception of the light on the goose, everything fits together quite nicely. Although I've tried compositing several images to get the shot I had in my head, they're never quite this successful.

Thanks for the feedback, Ryan. Yes, the second source of light on the bird is a little disorienting, but I view that as a bit of artistic license to achieve a visual effect...and the reflection almost pulls it together as a shadow. I probably should look for another background image...

This is a lovely composite that tells a great story. The contrasty lighting on the dancer does feel out of place. You might try reducing the contrast/clarity on the dancer, but that is an artistic choice.
