Nikon D300, Sigma 150mm. F/10, 1/50, ISO 200.

I hope I was able to capture the beauty and mood of this serene garden scene. Comments appreciated.

Wonderful splashes of color and detail Albert. Superbly captured and displayed in my opinion.

Very nice image, Albert. I always like a floral scene that shows various stages of bloom maturity.

Albert:
Beautiful flowers. Is this from your garden?

Overall I like the image. Nice POV and perfect exposure. I find the overhanging leaves over the flower a little distracting; may be a little tidying before taking the picture would have avoided that. Nice as posted too as it is more natural looking.

Hi gary :wavey: thanks for the comments!!! Yes this was taken from my garden, actually, 99% of my pictures are taken on my property, Boy do i save gas  I know it's subjective, but to me ,all this clutter makes the picture

Beautiful flowers! The green makes a nice backdrop. I don't mind the busy, but do wish the bottom right flower was turned a little more inward so it matched the others.

Hi Albert, Lovely overall pattern of flowers in this garden scene. I don't mind the clipped petals, but I think the flower in the lower right corner does little more than direct the eye out of the image. I don't think cloning will help. Just something to be aware of with the next similar shot.

Regards,

Carol

This has a lovely quality to it, Albert - the flowers seem to flutter in the breeze among the lights and darks of the greenery. A really beautiful and very natural image.
