November blooms

I had a hard time with composition and the wind with this. I thought of it as an adult with children. I plan to get out in better conditions later, but would appreciate all comments and critique. Thanks.

Bob, I really like the concept of only having the blooms visible. Great contrast with the dark BG. Looking forward to seeing more.

I like the comp and the way the flowers stand out from the background. Nice image.

I really like the dark background with only a hint of the green and the way it makes the blooms stand out..

Hi Robert :wavey: Love the illusion! Like water lilies floating in water. Beautifully thoughtout and crafted

Bob:
Nice composition. The dark bg makes the blooms look like floating. Looks plenty sharp at 1/10sec on a windy day! A suggestion for this image is perhaps dimming the left upper quadrant of the white bloom slightly as the details are a little difficult to see (hope its not my uncalibrated monitor).

Hi Bob, I like your compositional idea very much, and I can see that the wind gave you losts of problems. The yellow flower in the lower right appears to be in great focus. Unfortunately the white flower lost some of it's definition. Maybe shooting with a higher ISO would permit you to shoot faster. I hope you are able to repeat this experiment.

Regards,

Carol

Robert: Just beautiful. Excellent whites and yellows and a very compelling comp IMO. Very well done.>=))>
