As we noticed these 3 lions (2 sisters & a brother) from a distance they were just lying in the grass, when all of a sudden one got up and they all started fighting. It was clear two had teamed up against their sister. It was all over within a minute and they lay down again...

Great action and light. I would crop out the sky as it definitely draws my eye.

Vincent,

Great stuff in what looks like difficult light, the glint on the teeth makes it for me. I agree with Paul on cropping out the sky.

Vincent, you must have been fast on the trigger to capture that action, given the seeming lack of warning.

I am just waiting for the clash when the last one hits the other two
It seems to have built up some speed.

Is there any more space to the sides? Not that it is an issue, but in my head the imaginary end of tail is outside the frame to the right and I think a little more to the left would have been a bonus as well.

Lovely action here Vincent, and I like how the light catches the victim's open mouth. I find myself agreeing with Paul's crop suggestion - I'd go for a pano presentation...

Family squabbles, you gotta' love 'em, all this picture needs is a few more members, some empty beer and wine bottle scattered around, and a barbecue pit off to one side to make it the perfect capture - LOL ;^p

OK seriously, this is an absolutely marvelous image of action Vincent. Even without your explanation of what you saw, it immediately causes one to think up a story about what might be happening, what brought it about, and how it all ended, which in itself makes for a dream capture. To top it off though, you've caught this action in good light and enough of each subject's face to make the picture all the more compelling.

You must have been smiling ear to ear when you saw the result, I know I certainly would have been :^)

Vincent you have done very well on your part, in capturing this image, where all the lions are in action and captured very nicely. However, it is the light and the terrain, which is limiting factor in the success of this image.

Jagdeep, you said

Re the light I completely disagree, but re the terrain I completely agree.
