Really good cross-stream shot Youssef, something I find hard to do. The boulders leap-frogging across lead to the beauty on the far shore.

Nice fall colors and composition Youssef. I like the dark tones in the water contrast with the bright fall colors.

Youssef,

I know this spot well and this is a beautiful capture. Please tell me this is last year and not this year? I'm heading over next week. Have no idea what the conditions will be like this year. Anyway, I like John's reference to a "cross-stream" image. This is classic and beautifully captured. I like the balance between the river and the autumn forest. Well done.

Thanks all for the feedback.

Lon it was from Saturday morning. I am still here today but leaving this afternoon. The color in El Capitan Meadow was alredy gone when I arrived Friday afternoon. Most of the Black Oaks seemed to have just gone brown and dropped. the Maples and Dogwoods at Pohono and alog the Merced are peaking right now. The Black Oaks on Cook;s Meadow are just starting to turn. There is also some good color in the grove just north of Curry Village on the road that connects southside and northside drives. I might come back next week as well, maybe Monday/Tuesday with my kids. Good Luck and I hope you do catch some color.
