This image is the third one I am going to share here from my trip to Höllental last week, a valley in Lower Austria. It was a foggy and overcast afternoon and I enjoyed the interplay of colors.

I think the colors everywhere were better than New England this year. Love the haze and the range of colors.

Peter, I love the feel of this one! The fall color and foggy overcast conditions were captured really well in this nice scene.

Gorgeous color Peter but I especially love the green line along the shore. Beautiful autumnal scene.

I too like the interplay of the colors. The fallen leaves on the stream bed are an interesting accent.

I will echo Patricia. Except New England at least had colors—pine flatwoods don't give you a lot of choice!

Peter: Marvelous scene with great color. For me the bottom is a touch heavy and I like a fair amount of it cropped away, almost to where it ends up a 5:4 horizontal. Still, I like this as is and would sure like to see it for myself. >=))>

Excellent fall colors Peter. I like the composition and the green color of the water.

I think I prefer this over the previous one. I liked the thoughtful composition of the other one, but this shows the gorge in a wider perspective from which the impact of this image benefits. Again, the fg with the gravel, leaves and water works really well. The fall colors and the haze create a good atmosphere.

This one is even stronger than the previous two shots from there. Beautiful colors and well composed.

Very nice, Peter. Thanks to your shots this place becomes more and more interesting to me. I like the wide view here and how well it shows the power of the place. The lovely colors work so well here and the green water makes a great counterpart.
