Achahaird Bay, Inverpolly, Scotland

This is another film image from my trip to Scotland's Highlands on a Transient Light 1-2-1 Workshop. The light was forever changing as a result of typical Scottish weather. The turquoise color of the water started to show it's true color in these impending, stormy light conditions. We were hit with sideways rain shortly after and had to retreat to the rocky cove below. The depths of the blacks impressed me the most about this scene as well as the color of Velvia.

Thanks for having a look.

Impressive landscape, Eva--the composition is just perfect here! It kind of looks like the fg got attacked by many many birds though

Very good work Eva! The composition is excellent and the processing/colors look very natural. I like the slightly understated look this has. An image that works for me artistically, but also on a documentary level.

Eva, these were certainly specific lighting conditions lasting only for a few moments. A beautiful capture of this moment to me that tells me a lot about the atmosphere of this place.

Lovely shot. I like the long view along the coast with the turquoise water and the distant peaks. The saturated green area in the upper right is a real eye-catcher.

I love how photos with deep blacks look printed, so I"d love to see a print of this beauty.

This is beautiful Eva. Solid comp and excellent colors. The clouds and distant mist really make this a good one.

Beautiful work, Eva. The image has the look of a landscape painting... stormy light and a classical comp. The detail in the large version is just wonderful... can see a large canvas print of it.

I like the color, depth, and light in this one, Eva. And your comp drives my eye through to the back. Well done!
