I can't really explain in words how eerie this place really was, especially after sunset.... Callinish, Isle of Lewis, Scotland. I always wanted to see Stonehenge, but I think this place is much better since I could actually stand amongst the standing stones. Chilling experience. ...and yes at this point of the evening, I was the only one standing next to these amazing ancient stones. While the clouds were moving at least the stones were not....

Thanks for looking and for comments.

I really love the sky here. Beuaitul colors and some drama in it. I also like the mood but somehow it seems a bit dark for me (the foreground)

Putting the pillars in silhouette makes for a foreboding feel here, although I really like the other image as well for its major mystique.

Hill Bill - Thanks. The foreground is dark on purpose to get the eerie effect (at least for me)..
