Redwing at pool. The seasons really have gone to pot ! I had in a short session today, all the usual with golfinches not even half moulted, others in adult plumage, redpolls by the dozen - Siskins still in moult, - Redwings ( earliest for me ) and 4 Bramblings !
In one hour and 20 minutes I had - Blue Tit,Great Tit, Cole Tit, Long tailed Tit, Redpoll, Siskin, Dunnock. House Sparrow, Magpie, Wood Pigeon, Yellow hammer, Redwing, Brambling, Nuthatch, G.S Woodpecker,Tree Creeper, Goldcrest, Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Blackcap, Blackbird, Chaffinch, and Wren (23 species ! )- and one Grey Squirrel.
All in a 3ft wide puddle !
D7000 Sigma 100-300 mm
180th @f9
80% of full frame.
Levels . Bluetit wing blur cloned out
CZM/ Neat image.

Eighty minutes and you have had more species than I have had in my small garden all year! A lovely image of a redwing, as Phil has said it looks like 3D even without glasses.
