I've been on the road taking pictures the last two weeks and now i'm back home again. Here's an older one from last spring taken at a local lake. It's a very picturesque small lake but not well known by other photographers.
Taken early morning before sunrise.

Techs:Nikon D700, 16-35mm lens (@22mm), ISO 200, f 13, 1/2 sec

Thanks for any comments and thoughts.

Beautiful reflection and color Bill. The lily pads add interest to the scene.

Beautiful image, Bill. The light and color here are exceptional and I like the inclusion of the lily pads as a foreground element. I also like the silhouetted trees along the shoreline and I'm glad you resisted the temptation to pull out every last bit of detail.

Bill, I especially like the way you lead me from near to distance in your image. Natural colors to my eye and the glow makes for a beautiful focal point to me.

Hi Bill, Wow! this is beautiful. I love the light and awesome colors. Your comp works so well here with the reflection and the lily pads. I really like the fog just over the water, it adds to the wonderful feel of this. Fantastic scene so well captured! :toast:

The foreground and the light really hold my attention. Pretty special to find the picture in this.

I can't believe this has only 80 views and 6 comments. A beautifully composed well balanced image with great colors. Nice handling of light also. Excellent. :toast:
