Flagstaff Apsens

Last weekend we made our way up to Flagstaff to join in the fall foliage hunt. The colors turned out to be pretty good but the cloudless sky limited compositions. I was able to find this little scene that seemed to be worth investigating.

Nice lighting here Martin. I also like it cropped square without so much on the right.

Nice, detailed scene with lots of rich fall color. I like it . . . Marc's crop suggestion would result in a very fine image, but this works well for me too.

Very nice Martin. The aspens and yellow leaves are so pretty.

This looks pretty good, Martin. I think your composition works well and the conifers make a nice backdrop for the aspen and really help set the leaves apart.

Love the composition, isolating these aspen boles against the autumn color. Thoroughly enjoy the larger image. Very, very nice.

The large version is a beauty. Very well done. This time of year is hard to beat if for nothing else than all the aspen photos we get to see.

Very nice Martin. I like it as is as yet could also see a croped option. I like that this is not too centered.

Fine image - the background conifer makes the shot in my view. Take that away and it becomes like a million other duo-chromatic fall aspen images.

Having been to Flagstaff to photograph aspen there I can attest to difficulty in find pleasing composition. This is a great find Martin.
