Mysk Ox in Dovre, Norway. Wanted to include the landscape and beautiful late autumn colors in the distance.

Hi Christer,

That's one massive scene - it certainly dwarfs those musk-ox. I like the colours here and the diagonal line produced by the ridge adds interest to the composition. I quite like animalscapes but they can be tough to present online - I think this image would be quite compelling as a large print.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one...

Christer, I like this scene, but think it is not showing at its best on my monitor. The colors seem muted. I would like to see the musk ox slightly larger, as it is to me they do not stand out enough. But, sometimes you just have to take what is given!
Thanks for sharing.

Love the waves of color in this, but personally I would like the animals in this animals cape to be a bit larger in the frame. They really disappear in this shot and I don't think I could have told you what they are without you telling me.

Just the thought of seeing musk oxen in such a sweeping landscape gives me goosebumps. I dont mind the size of them in the frame, just wish they were a little more cooperative by giving you an interesting formation of some sort. May be walk along the ridge or all in line etc.. As it is they sort of melt into the landscape.

Love the colours and lines here. I agree with Brad - they look a bit too small on web resolution and would love to see this blown up large to really appreciate it...
