I just returned from trip to India where I’ve visited the fantastic Lower Himalaya Mountains area, excellent architectural sites like Agra Fort, Taj Mahal, Lotus Temple and others most beautiful sites, but during my road travel through Northern India (more than 1,500km) I was also confronted by the way how the municipal solid waste is in many areas disposed.
This photo has been taken in small town not far away from Agra in India. Your comments are most welcome.

Not sure what's more disturbing..the piles of garbage or the cow grazing in trash. At least she doesn't look like she's starving. A thought provoking image, for sure. (I have to admit my first thought was, "can't be too much worse than what we feed them here in the US")
