Low Water!

While this area has not had the drought like Texas and other areas, there has been a lack of rain. I had planned on getting fall color reflections in the creek, but found barely enough water to keep the pools connected. Sugar Creek is turning into Dry Creek!

That's low alright! We get wild fluctuations in water levels around here, so this is not an irregular occurrence for me. I can't imagine how you would do it other than including landmarks from this waterway that familiar to viewers in order the strengthen the impression of the unusual state? Being unfamiliar with the location, I'm just brainstorming. I like the way you've exposed for the sunlight while not letting the shadowed areas fall completely into black.
