Wake Up!
The canoe drifted from side to side, seemingly impatient for me to get in and paddle. If it were not for oversleeping after a late night around the campfire (celebrating my first minor trail climb in more than three years -- since disease and chemotherapy weakened my blood and my body), I would have paddled to other locations, and missed the this view from camp. So it seemed somehow fitting to get my little gold boat in a shot as it waited for me.
I shot this when I was rushing from spot to spot on the shore around my camp site, catching the fleeting sunrise rays penetrate the morning mist on the Bog River in the Adirondacks a couple of days ago. (It was shot a few minutes after
Gentle Spectacle II: Warming the Mist, which I posted last night.)

P.S. Sorry if this looks too cyan-saturated. It appears that some kind of color management demon has possessed this file. I just spent more than 30 min. uploading and deleting 3 previos versions that looked as blue/green as my father's '55 aquamarine pontiac. Before I uploaded this version 4, it looked almost like a black and white conversion. Guess I'll do some research or take this up in the NPN forums if it does not look better after I get some sleep. (Had chemo today, so maybe it affected my color vision -- or sanity

)

On my monitor (iMac) it does not appear to be cyan-saturated; in fact, all of the colors look good.
Glad you're feeling well enough to get out.
Take care,

Great photo. I love it and no it isn't too cyan on my screen. It looks like an Adirondack morning, wonderful. I know we're supposed to give constructive criticism, not just a pat on the virtual back but frankly I can't think of any way to improve it.
