Well Ram, I mean Scott you could have called this Dahlia Abstract 5 and sign this off as Ram and no one would know the difference  . As good a SOA as any of the master. Congrats.

Scott, Gary - You both crack me up  . I am no master of anything  . Scott, All I can say is that both you and Gary are definitely in the know of things when it comes to abstracts. I really like this one, Scott. Curves and lines are pretty potent combinations for an abstract and you have achieved it here - colors are superb too.

If you have a shorter macro lens, you may also want to try handholding. Minute adjustments can easily be made for getting the sharpness on the lines properly.

Sweet! You've pulled off a rare treat having tones from with so much grey shadowing to show depth and sculpture...superb!

Great colors and wonderful lines Scott. I love the 'squiggle' in the BG. Very, very nice.

Looks pretty Ramesque to me, Scott ! Beautifully done - the lines work together in perfect harmony. A very fine abstract indeed ( only wonder about a touch more brightness but that might spoil the sense of depth ? ).

Scott: Dueling dahlias! Great colors and flow. They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery so I think you've complimented Ram very nicely. Beautiful shot. >=))>
