Glad the Arizona heat is now tolerable and you're out shooting again!!
Lovely light here, and incredible detail. Sweet pose and perfect perch.
A great example of the most common and unappreciated bird becoming a very exceptional image, when the right photographer is behind the lens.

Nice image. I like the simplicity of the perch against the sky. A lovely bird with great color and pattern.

I would agree that the light does even give a starling a very nice look. Fine image.

Gorgeous light on this Starling. Very well done. I happen to like starlings, maybe because they are relatively uncommon here.

Ok, I'll admit it. I love this shot - even given the subject. Wonderful golden tones in both bird and perch and the IQ is excellent.

Gorgeous, Richard. With all of these we have, I never seem to find an opportunity to catch this plumage. Excellent composition.

What is outstanding to me here is how well the color and structure of the thin perch matches the markings on the bird, Richard. This is reinforced by the blue bg for the perch and the black bg in the bird. The shot is a little impersonal: the head turn is away from us. However, no doubt: a lovely shot.

The comp flows nicely with this interesting perch, and it compliments the bird Rich.
Like the pale blue sky, warm colors, great light, and sharp details I see - Well done:toast:
