Iceberg Aster

After almost two weeks in Glacier National Park, my favorite images are still floral macro! Even though it was the end of September, these asters were still hanging on. So many of them were curling elegantly against the cold. I found this one near Iceberg Lake (it actually has icebergs floating in it year round!). Sorry for my absence again. I'm back now and work has calmed down.

Thanks for the comments, everyone! Albert, I am shooting with a sigma 105 on a D200, but this was really as close as I could get. The center of the curl is only about the size of pencil led. I see you have the 150mm and I am SO jealous! Someday...
