Yosemite cliff detail

Taken looking north from Tunnel View on a stormy morning, about 30 minutes before sunrise. The fog was moving so quickly, bits and pieces of the landscape would come into view and be gone before I could frame a shot. I had to wait for just the right moment when the fog revealed the cliff face behind.

Moody shot with great sense of scale with those trees sticking out from the rock wall. Like it a lot!

Welcome to NPN, Justin! An impressive capture of the moment for me. Great sense of scale and wonderful separation of the cliff to my eye.

Welcome to NPN, and very nice first post. The B&W conversion looks great, as does the composition. Excellent tones. Well done.

I like the mood in this image also. Clouds moving through mountains are always great subjects. Well seen.

I love b&w landscape and this image was a great choice for one. The peek-a-boo fog is tantalizing and you've got wonderful texture in the cliff face. Very nice
