Ageratum buds

Ageratum is an annual blue flower which is growing quite nicely this year due to all the rain we have had. The blue blurred BG alludes to the open flowers around the buds.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro lens. F/2.8 for 1/60 sec. ISO 100. Tripod mounted.

Great DOF....I like the limited sharpness and opportunity it allows to discover portions and enjoy them. Nice b/g colors to compliment the blooms.

I love the cram effect here Carolyn. The milky blues are excellent. Wonderful sharpness on the main subject too.

Interesting buds and I like your dof choice and composition, especially how the stem disappears into the btm of the frame. Love the colorful bg also.
