Rosenlaui Gorge

Last summer I went visiting „The Rosenlaui Glacier Gorge“ in the middle of the Swiss Alps. It's sort of a slot canyon and there's a trail leading through it.
For thousand of years the untameable power of glacial water have been forming and sculpting an amazing work of art out of rock. The cliff walls reach about a maximum height of about 80 meters. I chose a rainy and overcast day to photograph the gorge. I never been there before so I didn’t have any idea what to expect. But it's an amazing place to photograph.

Techs:Nikon D700, 16-35mm lens (@32mm), ISO 200, f 13, 1/2 sec, polarizer

Thanks for any comments and thoughts.

Great view Bill, doesn't look like a place you would want to fall into or drop something. Pleasingly rugged!

It would be nice to see more of that glacial water, but this is nice as is with lots of details and texture
