Great details and colors Roger, I've never seen this species before.
I think the shadowed/dark BG not only helps the darner stand out, but fits the species name as well..
Held up really well with the crop, nicely done my friend

Even with the hefty crop it looks good Roger.
Stands out well against the dimly lit BG, good details in this hard to get shot..
