Dahlia Abstract 3

Another one from the series, this time a vertical. I had arranged another Dahlia behind this flower which got mis-aligned by the time I clicked the photo, so you see a bit of green peeking at the top. I seem to like it since it is in line with that curved sepal moving upwards.

ND300s, AFS60mm F/2.8 Micronikkor, F/4.8, 1/125 Sec, ISO200, Diffuser and Handheld.

Thanks a lot for your comments on Dahlia Abstract 2 and do let me know what you think of this one.

I have a couple more abstracts to go. I am hoping I am going to get a chance to photograph Dahlias this weekend as well.

I love the flame like quality in this one Ram. Another exceptional image for my tastes.

Terrific. Best of the three, IMO, although the first two were excellent as well.

Not quite the impact of the other ones of this series, but still so lovely!

Love the edge of that one sepal Ram. Nice color throughout. Not sure about the green, but I sure don't hate it.

The rhythms and colour combinations make this special, even for you, Ram. I love the hint of fulness at the base of the petals, which beautifully complements the flow of the linear elements along the edges.

Ram:
Always enjoy looking at your abstract; so many elements to explore. #2 is the strongest image IMO. I am not sure about the top green which looks a little discordant surrounded by the pink.
