Just before the sun fell below the horizon I stole this shot.
Goblin Valley Utah is an amazing place. I will go there later this month to see what else I can steal from the Goblins.

This is a panorama stitched together in CS5. Please let me know what you think, and how I can improve, because I am going back in about 3 weeks!

Thank You for viewing!

James, the stitch is perfect. Comp is ok, but not ideal for my eye. There's too much shaded area on the right side of the frame to keep my interest. To keep this comp, maybe an earlier shot where the light hits the tips of the hoodoos in the shaded area on the right side of the image to give balance. I get that you are trying to keep the mountain important. The shadows are too dark. Might be a monitor calibration thing. Also, white balance is a thing of individual preference, however I dig a warmer (not too warmer) look. The sky seems too greenish (too cool).

Nice job conveying the strenght of the setting sun light with deep shadows. Just enough detail in there for my taste in a high contrast scene. (Glad you did not over-brightening the shadows with that fake HDR look.) Looks like a difficult area for a composition, but I like how the background mountains are balanced by the FG goblins. Sky does look a bit heavy on the cyan side.

This is a terrific place. IMO, you should shoot this scene at first light (when the goblins are all turning to stone) this time. Looks like there is a lot of color on the floor of the basin that a little illumination would really make pop. I like the light here and the deep shadows. Interesting
