Before the sunsets, this place may as well be a New York Subway terminal at 5pm. But once the sun goes down, you can get to spend some alone time with this beautiful beast. She's something special. Cheer.

I really like the colors and the vertical approach is different than most and your chose angle is very cool. Personally, I prefer a more subtle approach to light painting...Processing looks pretty darn good.

Wow, you really have a way with light, Jared. This is fantastic top to bottom and side to side.

Jared,
While light painting is nothing new, especially with the arches, you certainly have done a beautiful job with this image. I like the splattering of stars and those cloud formations and bits of color really make this scene of the Delicate Arch stand out beautifully.
My only suggestion is cropping nearly 1/2 off the dark bottom where there is nothing really of value other than providing a base - and you don't need all that much. Otherwise, I'm loving this one.

Ordinarily i don't care for light painting, cause i get the impression it's been painfully used to overcome the limitations of night-shooting. But for whatever reason, this really grabs me--it makes a strong statement, its so over-the-top that it clearly isnt meant to be a 'this is what Delicate Arch looks like' kind of shot--the intention is obvious here, its art--and it works for me!
oh--id crop 1/2 the dark fg.

Hi Jared,
Bold composition, my first impression is that it's overdone, on a second look I think it can look very nice when printed. I feel tempted to remove a little from the bottom.
Applause for the bold move.

Very cool. You are good at being creative and pushing the envelope a bit. I think this works because of the extreme light painting. I say extreme, because it is a bit more so than most. But it works as a kind of counter to the softened clouds. Nice to see some stars there too.
