Painted Reed Frog

I took this on a shoot last year at the St Lucia Crocodile Sanctuary. I tend to be more attracted to the small wildlife than the big guys I guess , despite the abundance of big Nile crocs to be had.

Tech: Nikon D700 with 105mm macro lens, strobe in homemade softbox held off camera to the right of the frog via macro arm. triggered via CLS but set manually. 1/160th sec at f10 on ISO 400.

Any c and c always welcome and appreciated.
thanks for looking

very nice Emil, i really like the shallow depth of field on the near side of the frog with that softness in the background.

I'd love to see a close up of that eye. That gold iris up close i bet looks stunning!

Great frog shot, Emil. I like your DOF choice and the great focus on that wonderful eye. Nice comp also.
