Great abstract Hamed. I like this one a lot the way the lines are composed.

Great shot! Just out of curiosity what is the scale of this scene? Very successful abstract!

Having spend some three months in the Sahara the past year, I can understand why you shot this - the everchanging textures of the dune sands are mesmerizing. However, I personally think that shots like this need context - they work very well when they're for instance part of a series, but imho not as good as a stand alone shot. I realize that this is very personal, because I don't shoot close abstracts like this myself very much. Is this sand in the UAE?

Pretty cool, Hamed. I always struggle with these shots in trying to decide how much contrast to use--the heavy contrast does make the lines stand out better, but perhaps at the price of making the sand look a little less like, well--sand! Always a tough call, just have to experiment and see what looks best. I think you made the right call here

Oooooh, I like this a lot Hamed. Excellent composition and, of course, great texture, but what I really like about this is the wonderfully subtle color variations. Well done.

Nice! I think the foreground is very fine grained, and may distract a bit from the larger shapes that (in my opinion) make this photograph great.
