I think this is a great idea and concept for a photograph. It works really well for me. There is actually only a minor thing that bothers me -the structure visible through the arch. For some reason I find this a bit of a distraction. I think this image is about some very clear and strong lines (the cross, the arch, the horizon). I think that little piece of visual information blow the arch is at odds with that concept. The fact that it is so bright makes in stand out well from the dark environment. I suggest to do some selective darkening (burning) of that area.
