Gemmipass morning
by Shantikara Valuska
I haven't posted in a while, I was busy with other things.
For example I did some travel and architecture photography, and had less time for landscapes. And when I could get out to the mountains, I was not very lucky with the weather or light.
So this photo is from last year on a hike near the Gemmipass in the Swiss Alps.
The sunset and sunrise was quite cloudy, but like half an hour after sunrise it started to clear out, and I was chasing the light to find something interesting.
The sky was not really dramatic, but the golden light on the ridges was nice, and I found this stream with reflections.
I hope you like it.
C&C are welcome
** any thought on processing?
Dark-light areas? a bit more saturation?
Thank you

7 commentsIt is difficult to determine the horizon here, but my innards want a slight clockwise turn.

The water and reflection is also my favorite part in the image.
I think the horizon should be fine, I was using level on my tripod head. Maybe just some optic deception because of the curve, although from that I would turn counterclockwise
