This is the third in this series while shooting these Juv. Female Harriers and it's a different wing position again. I remembered to sharpen this one and added a touch of blacks to bring out the colors and contrast just a little bit. This shot was from last Saturday. Hoping to get out tomorrow for some kestrels that have been hanging around where the Harriers were shot. Hopefully have something to post in the way of Kestrels soon. Thanks for looking. Let me know if you are tiring of these please. :frown: Larger version provided.

Very nice image. I love the great view of the legs. Your did a very good job of the contrast and blacks. I would like a little more room below for her to look in to if you have it. Well done.

Another beauty, David. In some ways I prefer the grass tips beng oof like this, though the others have worked very well also.

David, I think I enjoy this image the most of the three you've posted. I really like the position of the wings and the extended legs in this image,

Ray

Best of the series so far David. I like the bird's position in this one. Nice BG too. The grass at the bottom really adds IMO.

I'm always drawn to harrier images and this is a nice one David. I especially like the perfectly even lighting on the entire bird. Tough to get good light in the eye when they're hovering over potential prey like this but the behavior is so classic for the species I'm not bothered by it. Well done.
