I've tried similar images in the past, but I've never gotten the hint of foliage as you did here.
Wonderful shot

Great comp and processing Lorna. The graphic quality is very appealing to me. Very fine work - no suggestions.

Nice abstract. I really like the transition between softer elements in the fg to the more structual elements in the bg. Nice colors, too

Well done Lorna. I like the ghosted foliage. Adds a lot of depth and interest.

Lorna:
A very nice abstract. The hint of color in the foliage is certainly whispering autumn. Like this alot.
Looks a little like in-camera multiple exposures. Interested to hear how you create this.

No tricks or processing this was simply timing in camera movement and shutter speed! Thanks Gary.

Lorna, I see so many long expousure vertical motion shots like this, that I seldom attempt them, thinking I'll just produce more of the same. Now, you have me thinking of trying it. This is not just the run-of-the-mill camera motion shot. Somehow you have captured a lot of foliage without streaking it, and getting it lost in the vertical lines of the tree trunks. An exceptional image!
