Pretty stuff here. Those lines are to die for, and the cloud compliments them perfectly.

Spectacular, Alex! The unique formation looks like it was painted that way and it looks like the clouds are coming out of the tip of the cone. Great composition and a superb exposure. A very striking landscape!

Great job Alex,
When I looked at the thumb, I was thinking Hawaii lava flow. Very well done and understated.

I've never been to the Valley of Fire SP, but this encourages me to do so.
The curvi-linear lines in the FG really are a great leadin, and the colors in
the rock formations and sky are awesome. This is beautiful, Alex, and
thanks for your comments on my recent wildflower posting.

Beautiful composition - well crafted. On this uncalibrated monitor it appears a bit overstaurated perhaps.

Best sky I've seen here Alex! I would take the saturation level of the reds in the foreground down a tad, bring out a little more of the white, for the red / white contrast of the stripes. Awesome image!
I'm excited for your trip back East, can't wait to see what you come back with!

Alex. This wave composition caught my eye mostly in the thumbnails page. It's such a perfect composition and the colors simply enhance the whole idea to excellence. Congratulations.

Great sky and lines here! I went here once but wasn't so fortunate with the clouds. My only suggestions would be to bring down the saturation of reds/oranges of the rock and dodge the left mid/upper portion just a tad.

Alex - what a wonderful image of the Fire Wave. Those clouds are perfect for this scene. I agree with Chris's comment about dodging the left side in the middle, but otherwise really like the processing here. Beautiful work!

Exceptional visual here, Alex. Those rock swirls take the eye in and the sky swirls command even further attention. Wonderful comp.

Alex you had some great light to work with. And you composed this image well. Leads the eye in nicely and the sky holds my attention.

Great stuff Alex. Even though it is an iconic shot (sort of), your take on it is fantastic. I really like the way the clouds mirror the swirling effect of the foreground.
