Neat shot Phil, I like the way you handled the water. But, I do feel a bit of conflict between the horizontal water and the vertical steps. Thanks for sharing.

I think the relationship between the horizontally moving water and the verticality of the steps and trees lends a sort of surreal quality. I like it!

This is a very pretty spot. The rock strata and the water are magical. I think the trail crew should have made the steps more crooked and rustic looking. Given time, it will certainly improve. Since it is local, keep an eye on this spot. I would like to see the trail entering from farther on the right and I certainly do not want to go down that hole. All-in-all, this one is fun to look at.

I like the color scheme and how the water coordinates with the ground colors. Was this a high water level? I agree with John about the conflict between the horizontal water and vertical path, but that does create tension.

I really like the dynamism of that river juxtaposed to the peaceful sylvan scene beyond.

I'm just loving this shot! The motion in the water is just awesome - it makes the image incredibly dynamic and eye-catching! I'm with Sandy when it comes to the horizontals and verticals in this shot. The river flows horizontally, the trees are growing vertically, and the steps connect the two. In my opinion, this is excellent. I wouldn't change anything at all. You nailed it! Beautifully done, Phil!

Excellent image, Phil! You have captured the water motion perfectly! Love the texture of the rock leading down to the water. The richness of your color is very nice as well. Great Work!

Congrats on the EP for this image, Phil. The water certainly is dramatic. Looks like flooding?? Anyway, love how the forest bg complements the water in action and how the action accentuates the stillness of the forest. Beautiful.
